Last week we took a trip to East Lansing (Home of Michigan State University...Boo! Hiss!), to visit the Broad Art Museum. The building was awesome, but they also had a Lebbeus Woods exhibit, which was extremely inspiring. I wish I could draw like he did! It was a great trip, and I got some pretty nice pictures from it. I hope you enjoyed them!

Jiminez Lai Workshop
I recently took these photographs of a workshop at Taubman College, put on by Jiminez Lai. They did some interesting work with hybridized floor plans. I know they're different, but I hope you enjoyed them! It seemed like a really fun workshop, and I'm sad I missed out on making one of my own.

Comerica Park
Here is another lovely little picture of a gorgeous ball park. The original of this measures 18" x 36", so it's another for enlargement and hanging in my apartment. It took me a while to shoot all the smaller pictures that make up the entire image, and the security guy started to get annoyed, cause he thought I was trying to sneak into better seats. Anyway, I love this photograph, so it was worth it!

My Internship in Chicago
The Pritzker Pavilion (Designed by Frank Gehry) at Millenium Park |
The Famous Wrigley Field (Cubs vs. Cardinals on July 11, 2013) |
The Marina City Towers as seen from the cupola of the Jeweler's Building. |
Crown Hall at IIT (Designed by Mies van der Rohe) |
The John Hancock Tower (Designed by S.O.M.). It's my favorite building in Chicago. |
This summer I interned for an architecture firm in Chicago. I was able to capture some wonderful moments with my camera. While this is certainly not close to an adequate sampling of my summer, it is some of what I have been able to go through and put together. It was an incredible experience, and I hope I can make it back to Chicago in the near future. It will always hold a special place in my heart, no matter where I end up.

Denver, Co.
I took a trip with my friends to Denver, Colorado for a baseball game a few weekends ago. We live in Salt Lake City, so unfortunately, no MLB closer than Denver. I'm a Phillies fan, while my other friends are more or less Rockies fans (some of them are, some aren't). Anyway, we made quite a trip of it, and in the three days we were gone, we saw a lot of awesome stuff--foremost being the Denver Art Museum (at least in my mind).
I took some HDR photographs of the Denver Art Museum, and the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum that we also toured. We went there cause there was a 3/4 scale X-Wing on display (Spoiler Alert: It wasn't a trap!).
The Phillies won, of course, and the second to last picture on this post is of Carlos Ruiz slamming a 3-run homer into center field. Yup, caught it on camera, but I can't see where the baseball is in the shot.
It was a great trip with great friends. I'm glad we could find the time to go.

Chad and Jacie's Engagements
Chad and Jacie are one of my favorite couples. They're always so much fun to be around, and I'm so glad that they hired me to do their engagements. They had some great ideas for locations and arrangements. I was able to capture some great moments, and I'm just glad I was along for the ride.
